Part-time Faculty Openings (Piano, Violin, Composition)

The Raysbrite Institute of Music is a music education center located in Princeton, New Jersey, providing professional music training for children ages 4-18 to fully nurture their music talents. All our faculty members are professional trained musicians graduated from prestigious music conservatories and have performing experience. We are looking for talented musicians who enjoy instructing children to join our faculty. We are looking for music teachers mainly in piano, violin and composition. The faculty are supported by our administrative team who manages all school enrollment and business aspects.

Position Responsibilities

• Teach individual private music lessons
• Instruct students to develop basic skills, techniques, music understanding and artistic expression
• Create an encouraging and supportive music learning environment for all the students
• Suggest and prepare students for performances, competitions, auditions, music examinations based on the needs of the students, parents or guardians, and help the students build their confidence and stage presence
• Maintain records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians
• Participate in school recitals and programs
• Contribute to the growth and development of the Institute’s programs

Qualifications:

• Master’s or higher degree in music performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous music teaching experience is a plus
• A strong passion for music education and are comfortable teaching children

Pay: $50 per hour
Work Location: in person, Princeton, New Jersey
